Ealing IAPT provide free workshops and talking therapy for people aged 18 years and over who are registered with a GP in the London Borough of Ealing. The main therapy that they provide for anxiety is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. For depression they provide CBT, behavioural couples therapy (BCT), counselling, interpersonal therapy (IPT) and dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT).

Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service

MCPS is a confidential, lower cost service for people seeking help for their personal problems. MCPS offers individual weekly sessions for up to a maximum of six months. All counsellors, psychotherapists and counselling psychologists are in fully supervised training at the Metanoia Institute.

We currently have an average of 70 practitioners, working with approximately 200 clients per week. Practitioners come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and clients are matched by gender and ethnicity according to their expressed wish and availability within the service.

Asian Family Counselling

The AFCS is aimed at all members of the South Asian communities above the age of 16. They also see couples where one partner is Asian. Their clients go to them with a wide range of issues including family and marital conflicts. Sometimes they have found it difficult to adapt to Western Culture. They are able to offer caring, personal and confidential counselling in a variety of languages with an awareness of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
