Grow + Create
 

Use nature to improve your mood and explore your creativity - the perfect concoction for some super gentle self care!

 

If you are aged 18-24 and living/working/studying in Ealing, this one is for you. Sign up to our free 8-session programme to help you manage anxiety and low mood.

During weekly workshops, Camilla will offer guided creative workshops, drawing inspiration from our local environment, whilst practicing mindfulness, plus food growing, encouraging healthy food habits and cooking. 

Learn new skills in growing and making whilst creating a self-care tool kit to manage and sustain mental health. You don’t have to have any previous experience – this is a supportive group, building practical responses to life challenges.

Who is this course for?

The course is for all abilities, and is designed to be a calming balance of exploring our creativity, trying out something new, while building a personal self-care toolkit.

In our weekly sessions we will:

  • Forage and create: planning an preparing a plot

  • Building a plant shelter

  • Sowing seeds

  • Forage and create 

  • Winter growing: mushrooms and winter greens

  • Using your surroundings: natural dye and mindful collage

  • Forage, harvest and taste 

  • Sowing for spring 

 

All sessions will be held in-person session based in the North Acton Pavilion, where we will get the chance to meet up, enjoy creating amongst the gorgeous green space, and take our creations and harvests home. 

 

Sessions are weekly, beginning Friday 7th January.
