FAQs

Are these courses right for me?

Our courses are primarily aimed at people who are finding that  stress, anxiety or depression is affecting their day to day life, and for people who want to proactively improve their wellbeing.

If you are new to MindFood, we invite you to join our Growing Wellbeing 6 session course. Once completed, you will be offered a broad range of further sessions depending on your availability, and which sessions sound most appealing to you.

When do the courses run?

It might be useful to check out our latest course programme for full details.

For new starters, our Growing Wellbeing course runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Our Grow Some Share Some course is for those who have spent time with us previously and runs on Fridays and Saturdays.

Participants will be able to join the programme on any week, resulting in no waiting time. Each individual will have their own start and end date where those joining the programme will be able to learn and gain encouragement from more established participants.

Where is the MindFood course based?

We have two locations, both are based in Ealing, West London. One is on a group of allotments which are a 5 minute walk from Hanger Lane Tube station or on bus routes 83, 112, 226, 95, 487. Our other space is at Horsenden Hill, Perivale. A map of our location can be found here.

We also partner with other organisations, so occasionally offer sessions at places such as Artification’s North Acton Pavilion, or Chiswick House and Gardens.

What is the cost of the courses?

Absolutely nothing! All our courses are free thanks to the support of MindFood’s funders.

How do I sign up?

We have an online application available here, or if you have any queries, email info@mindfood.org.uk

How many people will be on the course?

To keep sessions super chill and to reduce overwhelm, the course is limited to 6 places.

Are there other courses or opportunities that MindFood offers?

Upon completion of the 6-week course you will have the opportunity to join MindFood’s Grow Some Share Some programme that offers longer-term opportunities to be part of our community, as well as creative courses, trips and events.
